The Tacoma Sister Cities Film Festival has been enriching our community for 20+ years.
In 2025 we will offer 9 international films with the theme of “Coming of Age.” The Tacoma Sister Cities Film Festival continues to grow in attendance in our community. This year it starts on February 27, 2025 for five consecutive Thursdays through March 27 at The Grand Cinema, 606 Fawcett Avenue in Tacoma.
It also includes a Youth video making component and competition both for Tacoma and youth in our Sister Cities around the world.

By being an advertiser, you are supporting a non-profit organization that is dedicated to cultural understanding and world peace. In addition, our distinctive festival enhances international understanding and education not readily available in the community. As an advertiser you will:

Support our youth in Tacoma and in our Sister Cities around the world in the creative learning of filmmaking techniques.
All advertisers will be featured on the screen at The Grand Cinema, on the TSC website, and in the Tacoma Sister Cities Film Festival booklet.

About Tacoma Sister Cities
TSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Tacoma globally and enriching our community through international education, exchange and economic development, and promoting peace through people.
Sister Cities International, our parent organization, was created by President Dwight Eisenhower in 1956, giving national focus to affiliations between cities in the United States with cities in other countries. Our Japanese Sister City relationship began in 1959. Sister Cities creates citizen diplomacy, deeper cultural understanding, international visitation and hospitality that lead to long lasting relationships and economic prosperity. The City of Tacoma has 13 Sister Cities. It also has three Friendship Cities. Tacoma’s Sister City and Friendship activities are as diverse as its membership. Some examples of activities include Student Exchanges, Sports Exchanges, Maritime Education, Tourism, University Research, Performing Arts Festivals, Artist Exchanges and the International Film Festival. Each Sister City has a citizen- based Sister City Committee. The Sister City Committees are all organized under a 501 c (3) called the Sister City Council of Tacoma.
